Dress code in Iran is related to religion and people beliefs. As you know, Iran is an Islamic Republic and both women and men must follow the dress code rules in public places, and they must dress appropriately. If you are a woman, you will need a headscarf when you are outside. In Iran women must wear a headscarf and need to cover up their body by a manteau (or a coat), and their hair with a headscarf and cover their arms. You see women in Iran usually in a headscarf or hijab. For men, the dress code is simple jeans or trousers. In Iran Men should not wear shorts, tank tops, etc that showing complete arms or legs.
